About Preppify

What is Preppify?

Preppify is an assessment platform for K-12 learning. You choose a point in the curriculum — board, grade, subject, chapter, topic — and Preppify generates a multiple-choice assessment for exactly that. A child attempts it, and you get a breakdown of which concepts are solid and which need work.

It is assessment-first, not content-first. There is no video feed, no streaks and no social layer.

Who is Preppify for?

Four groups. Parents creating practice for their own children; students attempting assessments and practising; teachers running assessments for a class; and schools coordinating several teachers and classrooms under one account.

What age or grade levels does it support?

Grades 1 to 12 across the curricula currently mapped. Coverage varies by grade and subject.

Where can I download Preppify?

Preppify has not launched on the app stores yet. Email us and we will let you know the moment it is available on iOS and Android.

Questions and curriculum

How are questions generated?

Questions are generated by AI on Preppify's servers against the specific curriculum point you selected, then validated for structure, checked for duplicates against previous questions, and quality-tiered. Anything that fails is discarded rather than shown.

Questions that pass are reused across families where appropriate, so common topics do not get regenerated from scratch every time.

Is Preppify curriculum aligned?

Yes, for the boards that are mapped. Chapter and topic structures are extracted from official board material rather than invented, and question generation is anchored to that structure.

Currently mapped: CBSE, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala, grades 1–12. Subject coverage varies by grade and more boards are being added. Custom topics work for any subject regardless.

Does Preppify support multiple languages?

Assessments can be generated in local languages on every plan, including the free one. Language subjects such as Tamil and Hindi are written natively in that language rather than translated from English.

The app interface and the curriculum browser are currently in English.

Can I use it for a topic that isn't in the curriculum list?

Yes. Type any topic and Preppify will check whether it is specific enough to assess well, and suggest a sharper version if it is not. Both checks are free.

Using Preppify

Can parents create assessments?

Yes — that is the primary flow. A parent creates the assessment and the child attempts it, by default on the same device in child mode with no separate login. You can add multiple children, each with their own board, grade and history, and invite a co-parent to share the same family.

Can teachers use Preppify for classrooms?

Yes. Teachers create classrooms, invite students by parent email or a join code, approve the roster, track syllabus coverage, and publish an assessment to the whole class. Class-level insights show how the class performed per assessment.

Can schools use Preppify?

Yes. A school account holds several teachers and classrooms, shares one central credit pool, manages teacher invites and seats, and gives school admins read-only oversight across classrooms. A solo teacher account can be converted into a school later.

Does Preppify work offline?

Attempting does. Once an assessment has been generated it can be attempted with no connection — answers are stored on the device and sync automatically when you are back online, including across devices.

Generating a new assessment needs a connection, because that work happens on the server.

Plans and credits

How do credits work?

Credits are spent when you create an assessment, and credit use depends on the assessment you create. Other AI actions have their own small cost — a step-by-step explanation is half a credit — and checking a custom topic is free.

Plans include a credit allowance for each billing period. Plan credits do not roll over from one period to the next. Top-up credit packs can be bought separately and stay valid for 90 days.

What is included in paid plans?

A larger credit allowance, longer assessments, more children or students, and the deeper analytics: areas to strengthen, progress trends, learning tree, weekly plan and Smart Practice. Misconception explainers and PDF export unlock on the first paid tier.

The plans page lists exactly what each tier includes.

How much does it cost?

Prices are shown in the app when you subscribe, in your local currency, through the App Store or Google Play. There is a free tier that does not require any payment details.

Do children need their own accounts?

No. By default a child attempts on a parent's device with no account of their own. Older students can optionally have their own linked account. Students under 18 cannot create an independent account without a parent approving it first.
